Ronnie Dale
Boley
Aug 25, 1959 — Jan 10, 2026
Ronnie "Rowdy" Dale Boley, 66, of Hamilton, formerly of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
Rowdy was born on August 25, 1959, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Don and Charlotte (Leffler) Boley. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1977, and on November 5, 1983, he was united in marriage to Penny Lomax in Warsaw. They were later divorced. Together they owned Rowdy's Pub and Pizza in Warsaw for several years. Rowdy spent the rest of his working career in construction, operating Boley Construction with his son Ryan.
Rowdy was a man of strong opinions, avidly cheering on the Chicago Bears and following Fox news. He was a die-hard Chevy fan and had rather poor opinions of other automobile makers. Rowdy was a member of the Lakeview Club in Hamilton and helped fix the clubhouse into what it is today. He was also a wonderful grandpa. Rowdy was the life of the party wherever he went and always wanted everyone to have a good time. He leaves behind a legacy that can be described in one word: FUN.
Rowdy is survived by his son Ryan (Beth) Boley of Warsaw; his daughter Amy Heidbreder of Fort Madison, Iowa; five grandchildren: Hailyn and Cole Boley, Rachel (Kayleb) Kern, Taylor Huffman and Kynslee Heidbreder; his brother Lonnie "Dee" (Tina) Boley of Hamilton; two sisters: Terry (Dana) Levarn of Florida and Donna (Oscar) Francis of Keokuk; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rowdy is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Don Boley; his sisters Pat Pults and Sandy Boley; and his nephew Steve Francis.
Funeral services will be held at 6 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw. A celebration of life will be held at Ryan Boley's house following the funeral. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 pm on Friday at the funeral home directly before the service.
Memorials may be directed to Warsaw High School Vocational Arts.
