Shane Alexander Obituary Shane D. Alexander, 34, of Carthage, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at his home in Carthage. Shane was born February 4, 1990, the son of Sean and Marla Joan Long Alexander in Multinomah County, Oregon. He graduated from Westview High School. Shane enjoyed antiques and was a dealer and collector of antiquities. He was also an accomplished carpenter and artist. Shane is survived by a son, Nash Alexander of Carthage; father, Sean Alexander of Portland, Oregon; siblings, Todd (Chelle) Grotts, Cassie Grotts and Dusty (Lisa) Grotts; grandmother, Sharon Secrest of Beaverton, Oregon; grandfather, Dennis Alexander of Portland, Oregon; cousin, Josh Alexander of Vancouver, Washington he was raised with; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marla Joan Grossaint. Cremation rites have been accorded.
