Stacie Wear Obituary Stacie Diane Wear, 45, of Carthage, Illinois, passed away November 12, 2023, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center. Stacie was born May 19, 1978, in Carthage, Illinois, the daughter of William Wear Jr. and Karen (Bolton) Wear. She graduated from Carthage High School in 1997. Stacie worked at Bills Foods, the Hancock County Mental Health Center, and Bridgeway in Macomb. Stacie loved visiting people, and this led her to volunteer at the Carthage Nursing Home and Wesley Village in Macomb. Stacie is survived by her mother, Karen Wear of Carthage; her grandmother, Mary Bolton of Carthage; Uncles and Aunts Greg and Susan Bolton of Hamilton, Tim and Vicki Wear of Corvallis, Oregon, David and Diana Harrison of Carthage, and several cousins and great aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, William Wear Jr., her sister Brittany Wear, grandparents William and Doris Wear, and Charles Bolton and uncle and aunt Robert and Dixie Wear, and a very special friend, Bobby Brown. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Carthage at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage.
