Stephen Marshall Obituary Stephen K. Marshall, 74, of Hamilton, passed away at his home Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 8:45 AM surrounded by his family. Stephen was born September 27, 1948, the son of Donald "Shorty" and Edna (Nichols) Marshall in Quincy, Illinois. On August 30, 1991, he was united in marriage to Jacqueline Ann Trone Markey in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Hamilton High School. Stephen had farmed in Elvaston, worked for the W.L. Miller Company in Hamilton and in the oil fields of Oklahoma and was the owner of Marshall Maintenance in Tucson, Arizona. He enjoyed carpentry, puzzle books, watching Westerns and NASCAR racing and working on and riding John Deere tractors. Stephen is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Jennifer (Philip) Lodge and Jeremy (Shelley Oltmans) Marshall; stepchildren, Melissa Green and Dusty Markey; grandchildren, Brock, Marshall, Tatum, Ethan Josie Lorelei, Mackenzie, Kailin, and Nathan; one sister, Sonja (Don) Mabry; and his dogs, Gracie and Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Anthony "Tony" Marshall. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday evening, July 7, 2023, at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton. Private family burial will be held in the Elvaston Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Lee County Hospice. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of the arrangements.
