Terry Farmer Obituary Terry Otto Farmer, 70, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday morning, March 19, 2023, at his home. Terry was born on April 22, 1952, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Woodrow and Mary (James) Farmer. Terry spent time as a truck driver, racing stock cars, and working on stock cars. He then went on to be a mechanic for Laws Auto Services & Repair. Terry loved cars, fishing, and sports. Even after he retired, you could always find Terry up at the shop hanging out and cracking jokes with everyone that came by. Terry is survived by his two daughters; Malinda (Tyson) Purchatzke of Glen Carbon, IL, Lynette Farmer of Fort Madison, IA; his grand-children, Nolan & Graydon Purchatzke of Glen Carbon, IL, Chloe Burner of Burlington, IA; his siblings, Gary Farmer, Betty Krebell-Oilar, and James McClinthen. He is preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 4-7 PM at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage, Illinois.
