Alma Pearl Colvin, 91, of Hamilton, died at 2:06 PM Sunday, May 8, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Alma was born June 15, 1930, in Morton, Illinois, the daughter of Dewey A. and Annie (Rainwater) Murphy. On August 12, 1977, she was united in marriage to Perry Colvin. He preceded her in death in 1985. Alma had worked for many years at Methode Electronics in Carthage and was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Hamilton.
Alma is survived by a daughter, Susan Weed-Sanders; sons, Kevin Wade (Wendy) Swank, Donne Lee Swank and Jimme Gene (Darcy) Swank; grandchildren, Angela (Heath) Miller, Laken (Andrew) Pedersen and Brent (Keeshia) Weed; great grandchildren, Alex, Kami, Ryleigh and Kynzie Miller, Naomi and Alaia Weed; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Perry: four sisters; and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 16th, 2022, at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday evening May 15th at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton. Memorials may be directed to Lydia’s House in Keokuk. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of the arrangements.
