Carolyn Sue Jordan

Carolyn Sue Jordan, 79, of Carthage, passed away at 3:40 AM early Wednesday morning, March 3, 2021, at her home in Carthage.

Carolyn was born May 29, 1941, the daughter of Earl and Cleo (Hunt) Bolen in Dixon, Illinois.    On November 8, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Wayne Jordan.  They later divorced.  Carolyn worked at Methode Electronics in Carthage for 28 years retiring in 2002.  She enjoyed housekeeping, having her kids and their friends over and crocheting.

Carolyn is survived by six children, Joel (Jeri Bills) Jordan of Mattoon, Duane (Bev) Jordan, Charlotte (Larry) Fecht, James S. (Mary) Jordan, Christine Jordan and Ronnie E. (Dennice) Jordan, all of Carthage; a grandson she raised, Jorden Cadwell of Carthage; grandchildren, Amanda Lehey, Amber Jordan, Sierra Green, Ryan Jordan, Jonathan (Holly) Fecht, Stacey (Ryan) Runyon, Joshua Jordan, April Jordan, Tuesday Jordan, Michaela Jordan, Kara (Austin) Gower, Ashley Jordan and Zachary Jordan; and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Kyle Joseph Jordan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday morning, March 6, 2021, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage with burial to follow in Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday evening at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage with family meeting friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Hospital.  Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
