Christopher Michael “Mike” Tripp, 50, a lifelong resident of Warsaw, passed away the morning of Monday, September 20, 2021, at Blessing Hospital in Keokuk, after dealing with long-lasting side effects from covid.
Mike was born on September 1st, 1971, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of William Dale and Jane L. (Mason) Tripp and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1989.
Mike worked at Henniges Automotive for over a decade until catching Coronavirus last
September. Anyone that truly knew him, would tell you he had the hardest and meanest
exterior, but was the sweetest, funniest, and biggest teddy bear on the inside. He loved
four-wheeling, classic/old-fashioned cars, monster trucks, dirty jokes, spending time with family, hanging out with friends, and most of all being a father and grandfather. He truly loved his family more than words could describe. He would have literally done anything for them if it was in his capability. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Mike is survived by his parents; Jane and Dale Tripp, brothers; Randy, Bill, and Jake
Tripp, fiance; Sheila Cummins, children and stepchildren; Ciera Tripp (Keaton Underwood), Cole
Tripp (Raven McClinton), Taylor Tripp, Andrea Bertram (Ethan), and Christina Black (Tevin), and
grandchildren; King & Kinzlee Underwood, Daxton & Sage Tripp, Brayden & Brylee Bertram,
and Ariana, Madilynn, & Christian Black.
A celebration of life will be held from 3 to 6 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw. A time of sharing memories will be held at 6 pm on Friday at the funeral home directly after the celebration of life.
Memorials may be directed to the Warsaw Fire Department or the Warsaw Ambulance.
