Obituary
Daisy Annabelle Dillard, 87, of Hamilton, passed away at her home at 5:10 PM Saturday evening, May 7, 2022.
Daisy was born September 3, 1934, the daughter of William R. and Anna Marie (Maynard) Smith in Nauvoo, Illinois. On June 15, 1958, she was united in marriage to Ronald Franklin Dillard at the Presbyterian Church in Nauvoo. He preceded her in death in 1991. Daisy was a nature lover, especially animals and birds, and gardening.
Daisy is survived by a daughter, Rhonda (Nick) Risser of Longmont, Colorado; her son, Mark (Shirley) Dillard of Hamilton; grandson, Alex Dillard; granddaughter, Molly Cain; step grandson, Tim Sanderson; three great grandsons; two step great grandsons; two great granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; and a brother, Charles Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family of Daisy Dillard. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of the arrangements.
