Dorothy Agnes Stuckwisch

Dorothy Agnes Stuckwisch, 91, of Warsaw, IL, passed away at Montrose Health Center on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Dorothy was born on March 6, 1931, to Paul William Ellison and Agnes Elizabeth Kirchner on their farm in St. Patrick, MO. She graduated from St. Patrick High School and went to work at Sheller Globe in Keokuk. She remained there for 43 years.

On November 18, 1950, she married Warren Albert Stuckwisch in St. Patrick Church in St. Patrick, MO. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2007.

She is also preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Ladene McAndrew and three brothers, John Joseph, Paul William, Jr.  and George Earl Ellison. Surviving are one sister, Rita Marie Kirchner and one brother, Bobby Gene Ellison.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Al) Kirtley of Loveland, Ohio, and Kathy (Robert) Crane of Fort Madison; one son, Joe (Sharon) Stuckwisch of Pittsburgh, Kan.; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great–grandchildren.

She loved spending time with the extended family on fishing trips, vacations and hosting the annual Thanksgiving dinner in her home.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw for over 70 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 to 11 am at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw.

Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw, Illinois, or the Shrine of St. Patrick in St. Patrick, Missouri.
