Evelyn June Finton

Evelyn J. Finton, 91, of Hamilton, passed away at 9:46 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Keokuk Area Hospital.

Evelyn was born June 9, 1930, the daughter of Lloyd Leroy and Agnes (Quinn) Leeds in Avon, Illinois.  She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1949. In 2008 she was united in marriage to Norman Finton and he preceded her in death in 2016.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Carol (Robert) Kephart of Donnellson, Nathan (Denise) Clark of Kirksville, Missouri and Kevin Clark of Hamilton; stepchildren, Dale Clark of Revere, Missouri, David (Donna) Clark of Montrose, Iowa and Mike (Barbara) Clark of Kahoka, Missouri; four grandchildren; five step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and eight step great grandchildren; a sister, Alice Booth of Hamilton; two sisters-in-law, Mary Brown and Lois Wagner, both of Keokuk; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; a stepson, Daniel Clark; and siblings, Zola Close, Eleanor Burnett, Dorothy Buschling, Betty Settles and Lloyd Leeds, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery near Wayland, Missouri Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM.  Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of the arrangements.
