Glen F. Lehr, 87, of Harvard, died Mon., Aug. 1, 2022 in his home.
Glen was born Dec. 11, 1934 to Boyd and Florence (Singleton) Lehr in Champion, NE.
On Dec. 23, 1954, Glen married Virgie Ancelet in Basco, IL. He was in the Army and served during the Korean War. In life, he was a veterinarian and owned and operated his own veterinary clinic.
Glen is survived by his wife Virgie A. Lehr of Harvard, son Randy (Eileen) Lehr of Harvard, daughter Cindy (Glenn) Goszinski of Milton, WI, grandchildren Justen (Ashley) Lehr, Emalee (Curtis) Stahl, Jenny (Mike) Salvo, and Joshua (Darcy) Stopple, and great-grandchildren Easton, Everett, and Elijah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ed, Charles and Boyd, sisters Maggie, Rosa, Louise, and Frances, and two infant brothers.
The visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Tues., Aug. 9 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. On Sat., Aug. 13, there will be a 10 AM graveside service in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, IL.
