Gloria J. Hoener

Gloria J. Hoener, 51, of Quincy, passed away at 2:55 AM Friday, March 26, 2021 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Gloria was born June 15, 1969, the daughter of Chester and Myrtle (Prior) White in Carthage, Illinois.  She graduated from Carthage High School and went on to attain her cosmetology degree.  On January 11, 1992 she was united in marriage to Douglas Hoener in Lima.  Gloria was very artistic and enjoyed crafts and baking.  She also enjoyed the outdoors, but she especially loved being with her children. 

Gloria is survived by her husband, Doug, of Quincy; children, Bryce (Olivia Carter) Hoener, Allyson (Joshua) Hetzler, Kayla (Owen Shelton) Hoener and Alex (Erin Miller) Brown, all of Quincy; her parents, Chester and Myrtle White of Carthage; four brothers, Bill (Sharon) White of Macomb, John (Sue) White of Wichita, Kansas, Tom (Jenny) White of Carthage and Jason (John Mounsey) White of Ellensburg, Washington.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell White.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at The Crossing in Lima with burial to follow in Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Monday evening at The Crossing in Lima.  Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.  Printy Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
