Janeen Massey Obituary

Janeen A. Massey, 51, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

Janeen was born on November 23, 1970, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Joe E. and Mary (Stutz) Massey. She was employed in healthcare throughout the area, working at River Hills Village, Keokuk Area Hospital and in home healthcare. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Hamilton and the Warsaw Library Bridge Club. She also volunteered with voting assistance during elections and occasionally played Bingo and visited the casino. Janeen enjoyed spending her free time browsing yard sales and solving puzzles, crosswords and word searches. Her life was centered around her faith, and she was actively involved in her church’s women’s ministry. Janeen will always be remembered for her love for her family and friends.

Janeen is survived by two sisters: Jennifer Massey of Warsaw, Illinois, and Janice (Mike) McColm of Alexandria, Missouri.

Janeen is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, June 6, 2022, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation will be held at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw on Monday from 10 am to noon directly before the service.

Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or Faith Assembly of God Church.
