Larry Oather Keller, 76, of Niota, passed away at Blessing Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Larry was born January 29, 1946, the son of Wilbur and Darlene (Boatman) Keller in Keokuk, Iowa. He attended Hamilton High School graduating in 1964. On April 23, 1983, he was united in marriage to Janet Kay Pilkington in Hamilton, Illinois. She survives. Larry had worked construction for many years in the area and also enjoyed small engine repair, especially lawnmowers. Larry was known for his generous spirit in his willingness to help others and his deep love for his grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife, Janet, of Niota; children, Jason (Jessica) Keller of Hamilton and Teresa Keller of Burlington; grandchildren, Kaylee Keller, Gracie Allen and Lydia and Keira Keller; siblings, Betty (Jim) Daggs of Donnelson, Bonnie (Ralph) Hardy of Keokuk, Jerry (Connie) Keller of Warsaw and Joe (Deb) Keller of Keokuk; a brother-in-law, Jim Irvin of Revere, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jaden Budoff, a sister, Joyce Irvin and a nephew, Rick Hardy.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 13th, 2022, at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial will be held at a later date at the Elvaston Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
