Myra Christine (Dill) Boley, 60, of Warsaw, passed away at 6:15 am on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, in Keokuk, Iowa, with the love of her life by her side.
Myra was born on November 24, 1957, in Carthage, Illinois, the daughter of Charlie and Ruby Jean (Cleveland) Dill. On September 10, 1979, she was united in marriage to Steven R. Boley. He survives.
A lifelong resident of Warsaw, Myra was employed as a caregiver at Our Home in Hamilton as well as River Hills Village in Keokuk. She was “the mother of all”, and had many “adopted” children. As a mother to many, Myra always had a way of making everyone around her laugh and feel at home. Her open door policy enabled many people to seek refuge in her loving arms and gave them a comforting shoulder to lean on. Her compassion for others was one of her best qualities, as well as her great sense of humor. Everyone who knew Myra loved her. Myra was passionate about the Chicago Cubs and Elvis. But her greatest passion was her grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them dearly, and her world revolved around them.
Myra is survived by the love of her life, Steven Boley, of Keokuk, Iowa; her daughters Tara Ann Boley and Jeannie Marie (Chase Turner) Boley, both of Warsaw; her son Steven Robert (Misty Asbury) Boley, Jr., of Warsaw; seven grandchildren: Shelby Stewart, Victoria Daniels, Marissa Daniels, Katelyn Boley, Lilly Boley, Aubrey Boley and Brenten Turner; three brothers: Mike (Joanne) Dill of Croton, Iowa; Mickey (Sue) Dill of Hamilton; and Gary (Debbie) Dill of Hamilton; and three sisters: Ellen Bruns of Lewistown, Missouri; Shawn (Joe) Dill of Keokuk; and Tina Stephenson of Kahoka, Missouri. Other survivors include many extended family members and friends.
Myra is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tad Dill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 29, 2018.
