Obituary

Nancy Jean Bentley, 73, of Elvaston, died as the result of an automobile accident in Carthage on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

Nancy was born November 8, 1949, in LaPlata, Missouri. She had worked at Methode Electronics in Carthage for many years. She enjoyed collecting lighthouse memorabilia and Indian artifacts.

Nancy is survived by two sons, Gary Lee White of Hamilton and Russell Crowell of Keokuk, Iowa; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and longtime companion, Bert Ruffcorn.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Yolanda Sue Crowell in 2019.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
