Ray is survived by his wife Brenda of Keokuk; four children: Lisa Stout Spence of Vacaville, California, Reynold (Sharon) Stout of Columbia, Missouri, Bonnie Stout of Canton, Missouri, and Leann (Andrew) Baum of Keokuk; two brothers: Roger (Judy) Kampsnider and Ronald (Val) Stout, both of California; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ray was preceded in death by two sisters.
