Robert E Cadwell

Robert Cadwell, 58, of Carthage, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:11 pm at the Macomb Post Acute Care Center. 

Robert Eugene Cadwell was born February 8, 1964, in Carthage, Illinois. The son of Robert Walker Cadwell and Sally JoAnn Tweedt.  He attended Carthage High School. Robert spent much of his life working as a chef and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carthage. He was passionate about history, an avid coin collector, and enjoyed the outdoors and travelling from Pike’s Peak in Colorado to the shores of Hawaii.

Robert is survived by his fiancée, Patricia Tweedell; four sons, Jorden Cadwell of Carthage, IL, Brandon Cadwell of Friday Harbor, WA, Nathan Cadwell of Powersite, MO, and Randall Cadwell of Meadville, PA; his daughter, Alexandria Peters of Meadville, PA; a step-son, Jesse Moore of Keokuk, IA; a step-daughter, ShelbyJo Tweedell of Clinton, IA; two sisters, Rauna (Rob) Brown of Augusta, IL, and Marybeth Howell of Fort Madison, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Walker Cadwell and Sally JoAnn Tweedt and his brother Mark Cadwell.

A graveside service will be held at Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage, Illinois on October 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM. Memorials can be made out to the family for funeral expenses. Printy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
