Roberta Grace Ludwick, 74, of Hamilton, formerly of Warsaw, passed away at her home Wednesday evening, October 18, 2023.
Roberta was born November 14, 1948, the daughter of Lonnie and R. Juanita (Brown) Stone in Fairfield, Iowa. She attended country school and graduated from Bloomfield High School. On July 11, 1969, she was united in marriage to Joe “Butch” Ludwick in Bloomfield, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 2019. Roberta had worked as a lab technician for Roquette for 33 years, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed Waylan Jennings music, was an Iowa Hawkeye fan and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Roberta is survived by her sons, Joe (Becky) Ludwick, II of Warsaw and Jerald (Tanessa) Ludwick of Keokuk; grandchildren, Shantel Bergheger, Courtland Bergheger, Christy (Mike) Roerick, Tearan “Paige” Ludwick, Joel Ludwick, Brianna Ludwick and Trinity Ludwick; great grandchildren, Zareth, Zaxton and Zylynn Payne, Isabella Dunn and Auriella Harris; siblings, Shirley White of Troy, Lonnie (E’Lynne) Stone of Woodburn, Cindy Brown of Keosauqua, Kathy (Chub) Humble of Agency, Charley (Deb) Stone Batavia and Harley M. Stone of Batavia.
She was preceded in death by her parent; husband Joe “Butch”; a great grandchild, Zylar Payne; and two sisters, Mary Goodwin and Carol Ehret.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw with burial to follow in Lawn Ridge Cemetery in Memphis, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Monday evening at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw with family meeting friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to the Warsaw V.F.W. Post 9802 or the Hancock County Honor Guard. Printy Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
