Rose Mary Slater-Percival, or “Rosie” as she was affectionately known throughout the community of Warsaw, passed away at the age of 72. Rosie was born on June 12, 1950, to Kathryn Finton Hall and was the youngest of ten siblings.
On February 22, 2023, Rosie went to be reunited with son, Martin; mother, Kathryn; sisters, Maxine, Vivian, Alice, Daisy and Suzie; and brothers, Jerry and Bill. Left to grieve are Tony (Libby) Slater; one grandson, Thomas “T.J.” (Jaykob) Slater; one granddaughter, Anna (Rami) Wehbe; a sister, Verla (Dean) Robison; brother, John Finton; and sister-in-law, Alma Finton; as well as many treasured nieces and nephews.
Rosie was well known in Warsaw for her greetings while drinking coffee at Wareco, walking around town, a love of coffee, handing out purse candies, interacting with children in the community, and drinking coffee at Caseys. Rosie will be missed by family, friends, and those not blessed to cross paths with her in this life.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw. Please join in and raise a cup (of coffee) as we say, “Goodbye Trouble”. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw. Memorials may be directed to Printy Funeral to assist with funeral expenses. Printy Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
