Sally Ann Fox

Sally Fox, 84, formerly of Alexandria, MO, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, MO.

Sally was born May 11, 1935, in Mobridge, SD to Samuel and Zelda (Vorhies) Maynard. She was united in marriage to John "Jack" Fox on April 23, 1955 in Deadwood, SD. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2002.

Sally lived in Alexandria, MO, most of her adult life until moving to Wayland, MO, in 1993. She was a member of the Alexandria Baptist Church. Sally really loved being with her family and many grandchildren. Anyone who knew her would most likely say that Sally never knew a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

She is survived by four sons; Floyd Fox of Wayland, MO, William (Ruth) Fox of Kahoka, MO, Tim Fox of South Dakota, and Michael (Jeri) Fox of Kahoka, MO, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, 1 great niece, 3 great nephews all from Mobridge, SD.

Sally was preceded in death by her loving husband; Jack, father, mother, step-father; John Raich, two children; John D. Fox, Jr. and Douglas Wayne Fox, 2 brothers; Doug Maynard and Kenny Maynard.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the family will be holding a private family service. However, there will be a celebration of her life held at a later date for those who would like to honor Sally and share some of the many memories of her.
