Thomas “Tom” L. Pitman Sr., 68, of Keokuk, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Hillcrest Home in Geneseo, Illinois.

Tom was born on October 15, 1954, in Carlinville, Illinois, the son of John R. and Alice I. (McCuley) Pitman. He married Crystal Rasmussen on June 22, 1991 in Hamilton, Illinois. Tom worked the last 18 years at Walmart in Keokuk.

Tom loved cooking on his smoker, fishing, flying his drone, gardening and reading. In his free time he also enjoyed building Halloween and Christmas displays for all to enjoy.

Tom is survived by his wife Crystal of Keokuk; two daughters: Neikeia (Jim) Lesko of Sandwich, Illinois and Erin Pitman of Keokuk; three sons: Thomas Pitman Jr., Joe Pitman and Dustin (Noemi) Pitman of Hurst, Texas; ten grandchildren and his sister Loretta.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and sister Rosa Pitman.

According to his wishes, no services will be held.
