Raymond “Ray” Massey, 83, of Warsaw, passed away at his home on Friday, May 24, 2019.
Ray was born April 14, 1936, in Big Flat, Arkansas, the son of Dewey Lawson and R. E. (Lee) Massey. On December 24, 1956, he was united in marriage to Barbara Glines in Hamilton, Illinois. Ray was a pourer for Steel Casting Metals in Keokuk for 41 years.
Ray is survived by three sons, Mike Massey of Warsaw, Randy (Kathy) Massey of Maroa, Illinois and Rex (Julie) Massey of Dyersville, Iowa; three grandchildren, Allyson (Trent) Bruhn, Tyson (Morgan) Massey and Regan Massey; three great grandchildren, Trae and Quinn Bruhn and one on the way; one brother, Joe Massey of Warsaw; two sisters, Jewel Dean (Jim) Kelly of Carthage and Carolyn Sue (Russell) Muegge of Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; two sisters, Carman Lucille Thomas and Freddie Maxine Campbell; and two brothers, Herschel “Jack” Leroy Massey and Junior Lee Massey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw with burial to be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Blessing Hospice. Printy Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
