Connie M. Harnetiaux

Connie Harnetiaux, 70, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away Saturday, July 4th, 2020, due to a long battle with cancer.  She was born November 7th, 1949 in Keokuk, Iowa, daughter of Eugene and Marjorie Plowman Heisler.

Survivors include her 3 children, Gary (Danny) Leffler of Sutter, Il., Pamela Leffler (Shiloh) of Maywood, MO., and Gayla McMillen (Matt) of Hamilton, IL.  One Brother, Ronnie Heisler (Donna) of Rockhill, SC., Sisters, Vicki Wear (Tim) of Corvallis, OR., Kathy Knowles (Bobby) of Carthage, IL., Rebecca Shipe (Dale) of Warsaw, Il., Susette Goetz (Tony) of Carthage, Il., 5 grandchildren, Megan Clark (Roger) of Peoria, AZ., Haley McMillen (Casey) of Henderson, NV., Lacey McMillen (Peter) of Cedar Rapids, Ia., Laikyn McClelland of Palmyra, Mo., Anna Leffler of Sutter, Il., and 2 Great Grand-children, Cayden McClelland of Palmyra, Mo., and Wade Lyn Clark of Peoria, Az and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a Brother, Rick Heisler, an infant sister, Jennifer Heisler, the father of her children, Gary Leffler, and her husband, Gary Wright.

She worked multiple jobs, including working on the farm, Methode, Casey’s General Store, a respiratory therapist Tech and most recently she retired as a full time Rural Carrier.  She was a very hard worker.

She was a very sweet, strong willed, compassionate person.  A devoted care giver to any loved one that needed it.  A simple person, more concerned about everyone else having what they needed than herself.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, July 8th, 2020, from 6-8pm at Printy Funeral Home, Hamilton Il.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10AM at the Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton with burial In Tioga, Il. 

A memorial has been established.
