Mary Fahnstrom Obituary

Mary Lou Fahnstrom, 57, of Carthage, passed away at 10:07 A.M. Monday, January 6, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Carthage.

Mary was born May 13, 1962, the daughter of Tressler and Goldie (Hoover) Hasten. On February 19, 2008, she was united in marriage to Paul Fahnstrom.

Mary is survived by her husband, Paul, of Carthage; three sons, Tressler (Jennifer) Stephenson and Justin (Barb Vaughn) Stephenson, both of Quincy and Michael (Kati) Stephenson of La Harpe; three step-children, Kris Fahnstrom of Galesburg, Andrea (Wesley) Paul of Wayland and Billi Fahnstrom of Wayland; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Hasten of Keokuk and Bryant (Cheryl) Hasten of Carthage; three sisters, Esther (Robert) Cott of Crystal Lake, Bonnie (Kenneth) Watkins of Bowen and Debra Robinson of Keokuk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Donna Fay; and two brothers, Bruce and Garry Hasten.

A time of memories for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the home of Bryant and Cheryl Hasten. Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
