Mildred Stewart Obituary

Mildred J. Stewart, 107, of Carthage, passed away at 4:35 P.M. Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at the Montebello Care Center in Hamilton.

Mildred was born June 14, 1913, the daughter of Grant and Blanche (Daniels) Stewart in Sabetha, Kansas. She graduated from Plymouth High School and went on to receive her LPN at the University of Iowa. She was a member of the Bushnell Assembly of God Church.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Mary (Joseph) Guarriello of New Jersey; two grandsons, Matthew and Christopher Guarriello; and a brother, Ross Stewart of Springfield, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Private funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, January 11, 2020, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage, with burial to follow at Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed via Facebook Live at the Printy Funeral Home Facebook page.
